Schools which are classed as being Inadequate may also fall into the Special Measures category if the Ofsted Inspectors do not believe improvement is unlikely without supplementary help. Schools under Special Measures receive rigorous support from local authorities such as extra funding and resources. The school will receive frequent inspections until the school is determined to no longer be judged as Inadequate.
