Ofsted Report Result 'Good' Explained
A school graded as Good has an inspection frequency of about once every four years unless performance concerns are brought to the attention of Ofsted. Inspections for Good schools usually take place for one day (known as a short inspection) unless the risk assessment process that Ofsted undertakes points towards a degradation in school performance. During the inspection of a school graded as ‘Good’, if the school shows that it may qualify for an ‘Outstanding’ grade, the next inspection will be a Full Inspection.
